Josh Kerr & Rusty Presents Camp Kerr

ENCINITAS, California - Rusty Surfboards team rider and World Surf League professional surfer Josh Kerr has recently announced the Camp Kerr youth surf contest at Dst Beach in Encinitas, California. The grom-only event takes place on Sunday, September 27th from 8am-5pm. There will be tons of fun with guest professional surfer appearances, a delicious lunch generously provided by Fish 101 and tons of goodies from event sponsors Rusty surfboards and apparel, Mtn Dew, Nixon, Raen Optics, Pro-Lite, and Fish101.

Oh, and we'll be giving away 5 boards to the winner of each division to stoke out the kids!!

There will be 6 divisions:

  • Boys 16 and under
  • Girls 16 and under
  • Boys 13 and under
  • Girls 13 and under
  • Air Show 16 and under
  • Parent Push-in 9 and under

Boys 10-13 Round 1 - 8:00-9:20 (heats 1-4)

Girls 10-13 Round 1 - 9:20-10:00 (heats 5-6)

Girls 14-16 Round 1 - 10:00-10:40 (heats 7-8)

Push-In Co-Ed (9 & Under) Round 1 - 10:40-11:20 (heats 9-10)

Boys 14-16 Round 1 - 11:20-12:40 (heats 11-14)

**Lunch 12-1 - Provided by Fish 101 Restaurant**

Round 2 (All heats @ 20 min.)

Boys 14-16 Semis - 12:40-1:20 (heats 15-16)

Boys 10-13 Semis - 1:20-2:00 (heats 17-18)

Pro Expression Session w/ Josh Kerr - 2:00-2:20 (heat 19)

FINALS BEGIN (All heats @ 20 min.)

Push-In Co-Ed - 2:20-2:40 (heat 20)

Girls 10-13 - 2:40-3:00 (heat 21)

Air Show (16 & Under) - 3:00-3:30 (heat 22 @ 30 min.)

Girls 14-16 - 3:30-3:50 (heat 23)

Boys 10-13 - 3:50-4:10 (heat 24)

Boys 14-16 - 4:10-4:30 (heat 25)

*Awards Ceremony will begin 20 minutes after the last final finishes.
