OVER THE WEEKEND, TURTLE BAY IN HAWAII ONCE AGAIN HOSTED THE ANNUAL ‘SURFER POLL’ AWARDS..

As always, it proved to be an eventful night, the who’s who of Surfing and legends of Hawaii all in one room.

If there were people in the Surfing world who didn’t know who Noa Deane was last week, well they do now. He had a night he will never forget ( for multiple reasons )…Noa took the stage 3 times during the night (more then any other surfer). Firstly his received the award for “BEST SHORT” for his online release of CHEESE II http://vimeo.com/102011264

Noa also then took the stage with the cast of STRANGE RUMBLINGS who won “MOVIE OF THE YEAR” which he starred in alongside Creed Mctaggart, Damien Hobgood, and the rest of the Globe Surf Team.But the highlight of the night for Noa was winning the award for “THE BREAKTHROUGH PERFORMER OF THE YEAR” in honor of Andy Irons. Noa received this award on stage from Bruce Irons, Lindy Irons and Andy’s son Axel.

Noa has literally had the year of his life, landing over half a dozen magazine covers, starring in internationally released surf movies and web clips and then being recognized by his peers and the industry on Surfings biggest night. All of this and he is only 20 years old.Congratulations Noa
