Head honcho and mastermind behind the Rusty Brand, Rusty Preisendorfer, is scheduled to be honored this year at the annual Icons of Foam Tribute at the Boardroom show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds later this year in May.

Since 1969 Rusty P. has been crafting precision surfboards for enthusiast surfers and world class professionals. "It's always good talking story with all my friends in the business at The Boardroom. I also enjoy meeting surfers who have a real passion for their equipment," explains Rusty. "The Boardroom is the show dedicated to surfboards. I look forward to it every year."

Rusty joins Icons of Foam honorees Mike Diffenderfer, Bill Caster, John Bradbury, Dick Brewer, Renny Yater, Simon Anderson, Doug Haut, Carl Ekstrom, Mark Richards, Rich Price, Terry Martin, and Ben Aipa.
