Rusty Presents Dabble Starring Pama Davies

Rusty Presents Dabble Starring Pama Davies

A short film by Dane Singleton, starring Pama Davies

Keen for a little spice in your soup? Bondi’s brightest young hell raiser Pama Davies is back with a blistering new edit we’d love you to check out. After signing with Rusty at the start of the year Pama hasn’t sat still for too long in his ongoing quest for firing waves and fun times with friends. From slabs on the South Coast to desert drainers in South Australia, and even a first-time Fijian strike for a fierce Cloudbreak swell, Davies quiver hasn’t gathered much dust in 2017.

Spending his time on everything from a twin fin to a beloved 6’1” Traveler, Pama has worked his way through the Rusty range in everything from beachies to bombs this year, and couldn’t be more psyched on how his boards have held up. “No matter the conditions I always could find the perfect craft, and the Traveler was a definite standout in the tube.”

How were the some of the tunnels you dug up in this edit? “Fiji was an experience, that’s for sure. It was gnarly, and I was scared as hell, but it was definitely worth it. South Oz was really cool too, I’d never been to the desert before and it was epic.”

“There was no real plan with the edit,” says Pama, “I just wanted to put together something really fun that’s easy on the eyes and doesn’t look super forced. I really hope that’s what we’ve done with Dabble. Dane Singleton’s an old friend from Ulladulla who I’ve always loved working with. He’s a funny guy, a bit different, but I really like the way he chucks his edits together, and hope you do too!”

Any last words on Dabble? “No last words.”

Sounds good. Enjoy.
