Every Month We Are Going To Highlight A Surf Shop

We support shopping local which is why we are highlighting the surf shops that carry Rusty Surfboards. Checking out a local surf shop is an easy way to stop by and see our boards in person, that way you can really get a feel for what board you want. Support local surf shops!

The first shop we are going to highlight is Rusty Del Mar. This shop is located in San Diego, at 201 15th Street Del Mar 92014. We have been working with them since they opened, about 35 years ago. We asked them a few questions to get to know the ins and outs of the shop. If you're looking for a good lunch spot while stopping by, they said their favorite spot is Board and Brew, just around the corner. A very important question: what are they listening to? The Spotify Radio station, Summer BBQ. Everyone's favorite question is, where is their favorite surf spot? They said secret sandbars or anywhere riding a Rusty, can't blow up the spot. We shouldn't forget about the shop dogs, Nick and Maverick. They wanted to give shop dogs a quick shout-out.

We asked them about their stock, they have most of the newest models and some classic models. Along with in stock boards, they also have made to order models.
