On the evening of Jan.21st 2025, the crew from Surf Splendor rented out the legendary Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach for a live, in-person event, featuring Rusty Preisendorfer, Jojo Roper and Taylor Knox.

The experiment was to have a live podcast with an in-person crowd and see how it would unfold. The hosts were David Scales and Chaz Smith and the evening was filled with laughs, surf history and an appreciation for Rustys many contributions to the modern surfboard and surf culture over the past 40 years of his brand, Rusty Surfboards.
