The Big Cat has a commanding presence in the lineup. A board that is ready to pounce with agility and power for its size. This board is built with one of our fullest and widest outlines and a semi-flat deck that carries a little extra volume out to the reail making it easy to paddle and catch waves. It has a firm, semi-full rail and a single-to-double-concave bottom with a touch of vee in the tail that lends to quick responsive control. The distinct double-wing swallow and slightly relaxed rocker makes this design versatile for a good range of waves.

This board performs as you expect it would. I’m 47 years old, 6’ - 215lbs. and ride a 7’0”. I need some volume in order to play in average California day to day waves. The wider nose up front means you need to put your weight more forward on the board while catching the waves, but once your up, it moves. It’s great in flat spots and doesn’t bog out. I’ve had high speed hacks just under the lip and still have time to straighten it out and fly down the line. Out of all my 32 years of surfing, I wish a had smaller models of this board as my go to board earlier on in my life! You can’t go wrong with the, “Big Cat!”
I love these, I have two EPS a 7 ' 6" and an 8' 4". The EPS ones are light but the board is big and surfs very well as well as paddles well. Have had fun in small to triple over head . With the 5 Future boxes you are ready for all events. Good times and a must have for big guys who want to rip and not be limited to longboards.
I'm 6'3 and weigh anywhere from 255-280 (depending on donut consumption) and this board ROCKS with me on it. I have the 7'10 and it is absolutely the best! Easy to duck-dive, decent paddle speed, good wave catchability, and this sucker turns! If you are a big dude looking for something short, GET IT
