With the end of the 2014 WQS season coming to a close, Rusty Surfboards team rider Willian Cardoso is finding himself right smack dab on the bubble for qualifying for the 2015 World Championship Tour.
Two prime events are remaining on the 2014 ‘QS, The Reef Hawaiian Pro at Haleiwa, currently on right now, as well as the Vans World Cup to be held at Sunset Beach starting November 24th, 2014. Willian is extremely close behind the #10 spot on the QS, which, if he makes it to the top 10, he will qualify for the WCT.
Willian only needs one good result from either of these competitions, both of which his powerhouse surfing suits. He is in Heat 14 of Round 2 at the Reef Hawaiian Pro, and if the waves stay insane, his chances stay high.
